• Plan & Design.

It all begins with an idea. Blue sky planning and all the dreaming. It is an absolute joy to sit with clients and discuss the ways in which they use their spaces…to determine the functions and outcomes they desire. We provide the consulting & space planning and engage with vetted professionals to develop & produce the plans for your future home. This is the “foundational” layer (yes, that’s a pun) of our full service process with the end result being a construction-ready set of plans. For those clients who have begun working on plans with outside professionals, this can be modified as a plan review to make sure what’s on the plans reflects the overall vision of the interior style and desired outcome

• Style Development.

Choosing a Contractor and assessing the build cost, allowances, and overall project budget is done at this point. Then it’s decision time. Lots of them. This is when clients say it starts to get REAL. This phase is what most people associate with the picking and shopping of design work. For our full service process, this phase actually begins during Plan & Design work in key areas with long lead times or for design features that are best realized when included on the architectural drawings. Being able to modify the plan to accommodate a material is a recipe for perfection and budget-keeping. (Ask us how…so many stories). Every client reaps the benefit of our supplemental construction documents and design review process that can include digitally painted images. We not only “pick” but also illustrate the plan for success.

• Material Management.

Everything is well-planned. Construction has begun. Our full service process continues and includes this Material Management phase. We’re in it until the end and the keys are in your hand, making ourselves available to the contractor, the vendors, the tradesmen, and of course, to you. On-site meetings are built into the scope of work and coordinated for the best implementation of the design. There are many details that are best determined during the build, and this covers all that plus.

• Decor & Soft Furnishing

Our full service now includes retained decor hours for recommendations of fabrics, furnishings, rugs, artwork, and accessories with access to over 100 furniture & decor lines. Custom window treatments as well as commissioned furniture and art are also available to add those one of a kind touches. We customize our scope of work to best utilize your budget goals and use our creative expertise to elevate your completed project with 25hr, 45 hr and 100 hr retainers available to accommodate the level of service desired. This phase begins at sheetrock and is incorporated into the overall design process.
